Where all of the fun and play time begins ……
Does your dog need to make friends and have fun while you’re at work or school? We believe that it is just as important for the health and development of your dog to socialize as it is for children. Our goal at Paradise Pet Hotel is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment during the weekday. Are you a busy pet parent, is your pet home alone? Then sign him or her up now for Doggie Day Camp. Your pet will enjoy exciting, fun-filled days while you’re away at work or play. Drop your dog off in the morning and pick him up in the evening. Your pet will play with his friends all day under supervised care. Make grooming day fun by combining it with a day of Day Camp play!
Paradise Pets has the largest outdoor playing area of any facility in the Bloomington/Normal area. These areas have trees and shaded pavilions for lounging on warm afternoons. During summer months, swimming is an added activity ($4 fee).
Dogs are social animals and benefit from interactions with other dogs and people. Many dogs experience separation anxiety when left alone during the day. They may destroy furniture, have accidents in the house, bark non-stop and exhibit other stressful behavior. Doggie Day Camp can be a tremendous help to these dogs and their owners. Often dogs need a positive channel for their energy and Paradise Pet Hotel provides the ideal environment for play.

Need To Know Information
Sound great? Please review our policies, requirements and rates for more information….
If you wish your dog to participate in playtime, please be aware that nips, scratches and other injuries may result when your dog participates in a group play session. Mingled dogs at Paradise Pets are ALWAYS supervised by experienced kennel technicians but injuries can still happen during play.
Playtime at Paradise Pets includes outdoor play, weather permitting. Our outdoor surface is currently pea gravel. If your dog is not accustomed to that type of surface it may INITIALLY cause irritated paws until the pads toughen up. This will often result in licking and chewing, further aggravating the irritation, especially during the night.
We limit play time for new clients, gradually building up time, but some dogs may still develop irritated paws. If you notice your dog’s pads seem irritated, please prevent them from licking. Using a cone for a couple of days during the night usually works best because it is the licking and chewing that causes the pads to become much worse.
Also, please let us know if your dog has any irritation and we will limit the time they spend on pea gravel.
Irritated paws are NOT caused by chemical or hot floor surfaces at Paradise Pets. It is the result of running on a hard surface before paw pads toughen up and then licking the irritation.
